Dr. John Ericson (French horn), Dr. Peter Popiel (tuba/euphonium), and Dr. John Ellis (trumpet) will all be leaving Crane-- at least temporarily. Dr. Ericson is leaving Crane to take a position at Arizona State University, while Dr. Popiel (also taking a permanent leave from Crane) will retire after the fall 2001 semester. Dr. Ellis will be on sabbatical for the entirety of the 2001-2002 schoolyear.
