I noticed that (what "Grump" mentioned) AFTER I posted , but it is only on my scan... NOT on the original from the mag. My apologies for a low-qual scan, I had no intention to be misleading.
I will re-scan and re-post if I get the opportunity (since it is not my scanner!!)
Anyone who saw the Nat Geo issue can verify that the photo is of good quality and appears to be genuine.
Of course we know that a multitude of trickery is possible these days.
Never mind, I suppose, all things considered, that this post is probably more relevant to the unicycle-net than tubenet in any case.
