It never hurts to have a few other people play the horn and see whether or not they agree with your take on its intonation problems. However it turns out, your dissatisfaction with the instrument means that you may need a change of instruments eventually. You may sell the Kalison for $4K, or you may find it tough to sell because of the reputation of the instrument.
