I agree on the de-denting, most of that is cosmetic, unless there are leaks that need to be fixed. Valve replating is another story. If the valves are very leaky, replating and fitting them may be the only way to really make it a player. Your repair tech. should be able to tell you whether or not that is needed. Doing just enough to make it a good player is usually the best approach.
