Not trying to sound too hokey but you may not realize how good you have it until it goes away (or until you graduate). Its hard to take sometimes but 9 times out of 10 a teacher is not super aggressive toward a student unless he feels the potential is there AND can be developed (both factors are important). I know I am like that toward my kids. It is those with undevelopable talent or no talent that teachers tend to be more lenient towards. So work with it and don't allow yourself 5 years down the road to be wishing he had just kicked your butt a little harder.
