If anyone that has a piston B&S, VMI or Schmidt or Meinl Weston, check all the valve guides and I will bet that most are filthy with little burrs or specks of metal. It does not take much to get them clean but it is a little work, It took me a little over an 1 1/2 hours to get all mine clean.
Well worth the job and you willnot believe the difference.
