I know a little about that tuba, because it was a topic of discussion a long time ago on the TubaEuph mailing list.
Carole Nowicke's friend is the owner of that horn. I don't remember his name, as my memory sucks. I remember him telling me that it plays very well but has a Besson-style sound to it. So if you're looking for your big sound, you won't get it on this horn.
