Last night I tooted a bit on one of the newest 186's, a silver-plated 5-valve CC.
It was after a rehearsal, the fellow who just bought the horn (from Low Brass Werks, incidentally) asked to play my pea-shooter PT4P so I played some on the Mira.
AS SOON as I started to blow my personal "sample a horn" tune (the trumpet melody from March to the Scaffold) I noticed a LOT of people turning around to get a gander of the sound (if that makes any sense.)
If you like Mirafones you will LOVE the current 186's. Call Tony Clements at Low Brass Werks, 408 377 3493 I know for a fact he has five GREAT CC's in stock now (and I'd guess you could get a pretty damn good competitive price too!)
