I have to disagree with the idea of playing a rehearsal with a tuner in front of you. The idea is to be in tune with the orchestra not the tuner and those can be quite different at times. If you're having trouble playing in tune play duets with the bass trombone player or the other tuba player. You might want to play the upper part too, since the bass trombone will be the low part on the Berlioz. I think many players have intonation problems on their F tuba because they don't warm up and play etudes on them. So play through some scales and long tone excercises making them sound as good as you do on your C tuba. This should help broaden your sound on your F too.
