I was a lifetime (30+ yrs) BBb player and I have an older MW20 that I've played for about 20 of those years (it was well used when I got it). Last year I decided I want (not need) a new horn, and I went hunting for one of the "new" BBb's. What I found was that I didn't sound any better on any of the new ones. What I did find, however, was that the notes slotted better and much of the "fuzzyness" went away when I played any CC. I ended up buying a large CC, which sounds great to me, and am very happy. I still play my MW20, but after a year, the notes still are crisper and slot better on my CC.
