This has nothing to do with the low note thread . When I was a student at NEC in the 60's I often had the chance to hear Mr. Traphagan play around Boston . He was always a great player and in my opinion underestimated . I only played one job with him [ a girl's school graduation that used two tubas]but it was my impression he is a nice person.
