Unfortunately out-of-print, but Fiedler and the Boston Pops with Chester Schmitz, narrated by Julia Child on Polydor. This was taken from a live performance, it's not just kids in the audience, and Julia is extremely witty with her liberties. She wisely does not attempt to sing "Alone am I" which is done as an instrumental.

Today's New York Times carries the obituary for Paul Tripp who thought it up, wrote the story, and got George Kleinsinger to compose the music. But as for personalizing the text, or small interpolations. . .hey, it's not Shakespeare.
