It's great to see so many like minds who are multi-instrumental. Way to go!
In order:
piano (age 6)
violin (age 11; played professionally in my 20's)
classical guitar (21)
bass guitar (late twenties; played in a country band)
mandolin and acoustic guitar (20's somewhere...mostly bluegrass)
viola (33; learned because it was needed in chamber groups)
french horn (45, just because I loved the sound of it)
tuba (53, by request of brass band conductor)

Now spending most of my time as a horn player, have reached the point of getting the occasional paid gig. Violin scholarships just to play in the orchestra paid my tuition in engineering school. Violin and viola are still the ones that people mostly come after me to play(just played both instruments + mandolin this summer on yet another amateur CD) although horn is still rising and tuba is on the way.

Some of us seem to have the most fun playing lots of instruments. I sure do! The more toys there are to play with, the more fun you can have. I'm wondering what instrument and age will be next on the list.
