I didn't miss them at all. He was whining about the parents not supporting the school, teachers and administrators, et al.
My contention is what was referred to in another post about teaching the ability to do critical thinking. Do any of you really think that teachers really do that? Give me a break.
Public school education is really all about teaching a student to be able to go get, and keep, a job working for someone else. Critical thinking makes a huge assumption that students and their parents can do just that.
