Yeah, I would say that the John Williams Concerto is at least a whole level up on the difficulty scale. And the Vaughan Williams was written for a converted Euphonium player, so the range mixed with the required flexibility is a little weird at times. I would recommend the Broughton Sonata/Concerto or the Gregson Concerto (I think that this was mentioned in a previous reply and this would be the piece that I would recommend. It's a blast to play).
