I tried one of these Cerveny C euphoniums briefly and found it to be a decent playing horn. I think that they look interesting also. It could lead to intonation problems with a section because of different pitch characteristics due to playing the same notes on different partials in some cases, but I suspect they would be minor. I can think of no major reason why you couldn't use one of these in a band if you chose to. I would bet that nobody would notice the difference unless you told them.

On the other hand, if you tried to use it in a "Brass Band" you would have to transpose, since all of the euphonium music is in treble clef transposed for a Bb instrument.
