Hey all,
I've been in marching band for 4 years now. I have never been comfortable playing that damned sousaphone. I've tried all the advice on this board on how to hold that sousa. It's not the weight of the sousa that makes in uncomfortable, it's the position of the mouthpiece. I've tried, no bits, one bit, two bits, even three bits with no luck. The angle still hurts my neck. What am I doing wrong? I'm 6'2" 260lbs -- a big guy -- could this have anything to do with it?
