Thin metal, won't stand for mistreatment. Rather small bore, but still plays pretty well. Valve caps easy to screw on without the tendancy to cross-thread found in some inexpensive instruments. Third valve tubing has tight bends. Decent horn for an average high school kid. Lacquered nickel plating looks good.
