I was in the ASO chorus for the 1970 performance, and there were 3 tubas, 2 in the stage left brass ensemble, and 1 in the stage right. It was Mike Moore and 2 GSU students, and I believe that they were all playing BBb or CC Miraphones. The first part in that edition went up to Eb above the staff, something that Mike Moore could do with perfect tone and intonation in his sleep.
