You know, I have it on good authority that if you strip the coating from the lens it will yield larger prints with more visual impact. How's the intonation on that camera. anyway?
On an aside:
We played an outdoor concert tonight, from which I have just returned. The theme was (ahem) "Western Classics" (Our MD is on the road to that much-coveted "Originality in Programming" award). One of the tunes was a nice rental of themes from "Silverado" and is by Bruce Broughton of all people. It was nice to get to play something other than his Sonata. His brass writing is pretty darn good. Fun piece; too bad it is rental or more of us would get to play it.
