Our school does the following:
1. We offset a majority of the cost of lessons by having the band parents group pay all but $4.00 of the cost. (Will help further if needed)
2. We tie participation in lessions into the awards system. The students have to take lessons to be considered for a letter or other awards.
3. We use lessons for extra credit.
