Dr. Root is a pretty good tuba player, he can guide you. Also Dr. Call at BYU often has horns for sale. He may be harder to get in touch with, but Gary Offenloch at UofU is a great resource. If these great locals can't help you, you need to travel to one of the big shops on the east coast. It would be a worthwhile trip.
