When I purchased my Yorkbrunner I was no longer living in Houston, but I was still a member of the Musician's Credit union there. They had a new instrument loan program for instruments costing more than $10,000. They had a great program, they would pay 80% of the cost of the instrument and you paid the other 20%. The balance was paid off at 11% simple interest and my horn wound up costing $259 a month for 5 years. It easily paid for itself. All I had to do was keep one month's payment in my account there.

It was great and the people there are wonderful. I don't know if you have to be a member of the Houston Musician's Union to join but it would definitely be worth looking into.
