I prefer the 967 w/12 inch bell. I've tried some fairly recently, but to be honest, I didn't really pay attention too much to the 11 inch bell version. When I was in the market to buy a few years back I tried many horns and paid close attention to detail. I really thought the 967 was superior for my purposes.
It's a good solid horn, but if I remember correctly you'll have to check the intonation and the projection. Try it in a hall with a non-biased listener.
