Apologies in advance if this posted twice...
I second the vote for Celestial Morn by Leslie Condon. It's a great tune, ends on a high (optional) a-flat (I think!). I played this with my brass band when I was an undergrad, it is a good crowd pleaser and has some nice soloistic playing for the cornerpersons in the accompaniment. It incorporates a Salvationist hymn tune as the theme. Condon was a tuba player, and this is great writing!
If you are interested, it is available from the Salvation Army I am guessing... I think they have made this music available to the general public now.
my $.02,
