Ok. Here is more than you need to know; I am trying to start a quintet. As a Tubist with a college minor in performance, a sweet horn (HB-21), some music (mostly Canadian Brass arrangemnts) and good skills, I am attempting to carve out a niche in the area so that I can keep a moderate stream of income coming from gigs. I have 1 lined up, and would hope to gain more with a good showing there. I am wondering, though, what will give the group noteriety (besides good playing). What, if any, tips do y'all have to keep the interest up not only in gigs, but also within the group? This includes marketing, music, ANYTHING that will keep it going!

Your advice is welcome!!

Just getting started
