I am a euphonium player in high school. I practice nearly every day so as to improve. I often have the time to practice but my lips simply cannot handle it. I usually can not practice for more than and hour at most before my lips become so tired that I must stop. Should I take short breaks every few minutes or perhaps different practice sessions each day? I hear of people practicing all day but I don't know how they can handle it.
