How many of you have cut a tuba and had good results? Does more length come off one bow than another? Is it safe to take off even lenghts at each joint? what about lenght of leadpipe? Does retapering the cut parts really make a difference? (I ask this because my cut holton looks as if it was just cut and put back together. . . it plays great} Is there anything in writting on this subject? Thanks for any input!!!!
