FYI, Hirsbrunner tubas have the best craftmanship of any brand around. The Grand Orchestral model is by far the most popular of the big tubas. It has the best sound and agility compared to the 2165, Nirschl 6/4, etc. Why do you think Arnold Jacobs played one in the CSO, as well as his students.
