Several mouthpiece manufacturers have experimented with mouthpieces of different shapes,sizes, and weights; along with mouthpieces made of all sorts of materials, including exotic woods, porcelain, nylon, bronze, etc.
It seems to me since it has almost been conclusively shown that magnetism realigns the impulses of neurons, why not make mouthpieces from loadstone, or at least with loadstone rims, cups, or shanks? The delicate nerves that control the muscles of the embouchure would constantly be recharged with new energy, rather than merely being abused by constant overuse.
Has anyone ever worked with this and done any statistical analysis? Dr. Y., C.K., etc?
