Why would you want to use an F on "Die Meistersinger"? How would the beginning sound on
an F? To me, no Wagner should be played on an F. When I think of Wagner I think of a big,
huge sound. I mean would you play the "Ryde" on an F. Now, I am talking about the BBb parts,
of course Wagner used "Wagner Tubas" which are pitched in Bb and high F. But those parts are
tenor tuba parts and are different than the Die Meistersinger part you are talking about. Anyway,
if you did, I would use a "big" F. "Sensemaya", slow it down and count, like Joe S. said. About
your embouchure, I would try to stay center but don't worry about it to much. If it isn't broke,
don't fix it but at the same time try to drift back to center. That is where you will actually have
your best sound. I hope this helps.

Archie
