I have searched the archives for doubling information (bass bone and tuba) and the consensus is to use a similar rim on both. Currently, I am playing on a Conn-Helleburg tuba and a 1 1/2 G Bach bass bone mouthpiece and it is killing my chops. The 1 1/2 G has too narrow of a rim.
Could anyone tell me of a bass bone mouthpiece with a similar rim to the Conn/Helleburg?
