It is definately an ABB321. It is really more like a 7/8. The bore is small and the bell is too so they are easily overblown. Almost all top action tubas have inherent intonation problems. A better mouthpiece will help. im sure it cam with a 24AW. It's ok.
It has nickel-silver valve plating and it dirties easily so you need to keep them clean till the valves break in. The only two tubas in the Amati line that are half way decent are the 321 and the best is the little 323. All the rest are ok.
One big improvement is to have someone look in the tuning slides and see if the ports are lining up with the valve felts that came w the tuba.
Treat it good and store it in the case and it will last a while. Amati's lacquer is not as good as the epoxy lacquer on some of the better tubas so keep it clean. It will make a big difference.
Call me if you have any questions.
