I am looking for a new horn, and found a lovely Miraphone "Premium" model in a local shop. The owner doesn't know much about it, and is asking $5,000 (US). The repair guy thinks it is about 30 years old. It has had a complete overhaul, looks great, plays much better than I deserve. 4 rotary valves silver trim & accents. I know I can buy a new Miraphone for about $4K, but since I cannot find any model #, I cannot compare this to others. Does anyone know about this horn?
