Hi there,

I bought a Willson 5v Eb that was up for sale on this board just very recently. The leadpipe not only comes high up on the bell, but it also points slightly upwards. I thought that this may have been one time altered. Then I looked at the CD cover of Marty Erickson playing his horn, and it does look as though his leadpipe points just slightly upwards as well. While I'm 6 foot tall, I have long legs and a short torso. I could settle for using a DEG playing stand, but I'm considering having the leadpipe lowered a bit - probably by Oberloh in Seattle. Has anyone had any experience having this done?

Also, while the Willson does come with a beautiful hard case with wheels on the bell end, I'm more of a gig bag man myself. Any recommendations for a gig bag? Thanks in advance.

FYI - I'm stilling considering taking serious offers on this horn, or a trade for a good Besson 983. If interested, contact me personally.
