I would look into getting the mouthpipe moved. I think it would not be too pricy. I rest my horn on the chair and it works for me but it is a tall horn. I think there was someone who wrote about a new Besson coming out soon. I think it was a model 980? The write up sounded like it was a really great horn and I think it has front action valves. I still think I prefer the Willson Eb over anything else. Myself and a friend did about a three hour long play test between a Besson 983 and the Willson because he was considering either one and had not made a decision yet. I played them both and he played them both and from both a playing and listening point of view the Willson was better for me and my friend anyway. I can ask a friend who is a well known repair guy and see what he thinks about relocating the mouthpipe.
