I direct a local youth symphony, and have an inquiry from a young euphonium player. I am not opposed at all to having players cover different parts (I never know what wind players I will have from year to year.) But what part should I give a euphonium player (trombone? horn?), and more importantly, what key is euphonium in? Bb? Many thanks for the help.
