When I tried out the first 3100 that came over in Silver I played it on 2 concerts in a week to really get a feel and I used an old C4 mpc with a drilled out throat and it worked out really well, lots of center and alot of punch. Only problem I had was Eb and Ab, I had to pull and push for them like my old CC. GReat tuba and DEG put the write up on the tuba in their newsletter they put out.
Great tuba but you have to use a stand. Hard to play any other way.
