As the Mom of an aspiring tuba player, I have a few questions: Can she start out on a tuba? What is the best size? When should we expect armbrature to come? (sorry about spelling).
Any other hints for a rank beginner? I was a French horn player so tuba is out of my range! 8-) , but I'm thrilled that she is excited about this. She is 11 and has played piano since she was 7 (rather reluctantly), so reading music is not a foreign language.
