But, is this truly a real-life assessment? I consider myself both a guitarist and tubist, and when conversations about music come up with women, it's always "I'd love to see you play tuba sometime," with not much consideration given to the guitarist in me. Perhaps it's because everyone and both their parents play guitar, and tuba really is underecognized and understood. Perhaps it carries a certain mystique that these other instruments could never hope to possess.
Really wanna see me play the tuba sometime? Practice room, here we come!
