First, your abdominal muscles supply a great deal of support to your
back. Situps or crunches will help here. To strengthen your
paraspinal muscles, try this. Lie on your stomach with both hands
out in front of you. Next, lift your right leg and your left arm
off the ground simultaneously and then relax. Perform this motion
10-20 times on one side and then switch to your left leg and right
arm. Stretching is very important as well.
