Im a freshman college student from Washington state whos majoring in performance. So Im looking to buy a CC tuba, the Yamaha 641s the school has are pieces of crap, old ans abused. Anyway, I found teh Brasswind has two used Cerveny 601 CCs, both with 5 rotary valves. Asking price on bith is $4000, both ahve a few tiny dents and scratches on bottom bow. So what Im trying to say is, what do some of you think of this horn? This will be my first, so It'll have to work for orchestra, wind ensemble and quintet, until I can afford a F tuba. And if you dont like it, any recomendations on CC horns, preferably $5000 or less! Thanks a lot!
