There was some guy who made a funny posting ages ago, about how if you don't cast a 3 pound weight on to your m.p. cup, and then turn down the shank so that it meets exactly where the pipe fits into your receiver, that your entire horn would simply fall apart.
Sorry guys, but this is begining to sound something like that. As "huh" #1 pointed out, if it's not a funnel, then it's something other than a Helleberg - just by definition. What could possibly be so different that it couldn't be covered by a Bach 7, 12, 18, or 24AW - or one of the L.A. style wide but shallow designs? Oh well, maybe I should try a "Geib" and find out. Now I've forgotten, do I play that with rotaries or pistons? Where does my cimbasso fit in?
