Rotors not cylindrical, valve casings not machine-fitted
to rotors, poor workmanship in valve train, bad solder joints
in most braces and ferrules, and gee, aren't those the only areas where there IS solder?
inconsistent lacquer, VERY inconsistent plating.
Shoddy materials, obviously rough workmanship.
cost savings for poor workmanship offset by cost to repair,
cost savings hidden by crummy materials offset by life-span of the horn.
