Problem is almost all the major manufacuturers try make all the parts themselves, except for maybe very little ones. The most you will see is maybe valve sets or bells. They even have the brass made to their own specifications.

If the manufacturers are reading and they posted, I think they would tell you that they try to make as much as possible.

This is how they control costs and make profits. If you subcontract you lose money. It is not to their advantage to have alot of any product made by anyone else. It is usually only done when they just don't have the facility to make that part themselves and it is cheaper to buy it else than to gear or rig up to make it themselves.
