A much and better solution is to spend $50.00 or $60.00 and get an adjustable height playing stand.
It revolutionized my playing. Now I have correct positioning even sitting in a middle school sized chairs. Every seat seems to have a different height or lean and I was having a hard time playing comfortably until now. I have two of 'em. I keep one at home for practice and another for the road. I'm using the DEG model now - even though I have some dis-likes about its design, it seems to do the job.

Comfortable playing to you!
