Thank you to everyone who helped me with my unruly rotary valve. I adjusted to small screw on the back of the valve and it worked great! Now I know what the thing is for now.

Also, i am looking to puchase a good Eb or F tuba. If anyone is selling one, or you can recommend a good one, let me know.
