I just went tuba shopping in Detroit and South Bend, and I bought Yamaha's big F. I also liked the PT-10p (the last p is for pistons; I didn't like the rotary one at all). Got the Yamaha used for $6000 at WW&BW, and Custom Music was offering $7500 or something for the PT-10p. Watch out for tuning on the PT-10p
