I played a King 2341 for about 7 years before switching to a larger bore horn. It shipped from the factory with a 24AW which I quickly ditched. I tried many mouthpieces, including a Bach 18, Wick 1L & 2L, Conn 2, and many others that I can't remember, but I kept coming back to a Helleberg. The Wick 2L was probably second in line. I actually played a Dillon H2B which is their heavy weight (bronze) version of the traditional Conn Helleberg. It seemed to give me the best combination of a decent high range with a relatively open low end. I say relatively because I never liked the openness of this horn below the BBb, but it had a great sound throughout its range. I tried many horns which played more open, but it took a long time to find one that I could afford which had both a more open feel and at least as good a sound.
