Sorry James. I just noticed your more detailed explanation below. Please disregard all I said about the physical comparison of the Yamaha and Miraphone since I thought the Yamaha's were the front action type like your Miraphone. That said, those Yamaha tubas you are talking about are a whole new problem in themselves. I won't go into that now. I still don't believe his explanation that you will "...stick out" now that there is a third tuba. At this point, I think the best thing you can do is for you and your folks to get together with an experienced professional closer to your situation.
